Gold Paketleme Makina Gıda San. ve Dış Tic. A.Ş. manufactures the GST100 stick sugar machine with over 10 years of experience. Printed paper supplied by the printing house, 200 mm wide with a basis weight of 50–70 g/m² and produced using a polyethylene lamination process (15 PE), is mounted on the machine’s film roll holder. The paper from the roll is then transferred in a controlled manner by rollers to the section containing four cutting blades.
In the cutting section, the 40 mm-wide paper is divided into five equal strips and transferred to the forming collar and forming box section of the machine. The paper strips pass through the channels on the forming box and are wrapped around the tubes through which granulated sugar is fed. The edges of the wrapped paper are sealed vertically along the back seam in an A+A configuration by the heating elements inside the vertical sealing jaws. After this sealing operation, the crystalline granulated sugar in the hopper at the top of the machine is transferred into the sealed paper tubes by a piston mechanism, with each stick containing between 1 and 10 g of sugar. The lower jaw assembly seals the bottom and top of each stick package according to the photocell mark on the paper and cuts the packages to equal lengths. The wrapped and cut stick sugar packages are then transferred to the discharge conveyor for collection and boxing.
The machine also allows production in package sizes different from standard stick sugar dimensions. The required number of sugar packages can be entered via the control screen, allowing the machine to stop automatically once the specified production quantity has been reached. The stick sugar packaging machine uses a PLC control system, enabling convenient adjustment of the operating speed according to the required production capacity.
