The Bagging Weigher is a modular packaging line system designed for the flour, feed, grain, and pulses industries to fill powder or granular products into open-mouth bags weighing between 20 and 50 kg. As standard, it incorporates pneumatic bag gripping, integrated control automation, belt conveying, and sewing units.
Working Principle and Model Structure: In all models, when the operator places the bag onto the filling spout, pneumatic pistons automatically grip the bag securely, while the integrated automation panel manages the filling process. Depending on capacity, the system operates with 3 different model configurations and end-of-line solutions:
Single Hopper (Weighing in the Hopper): The product is weighed in a separate single weighing hopper above before the bag is attached, and the prepared dose is discharged into the bag held by pneumatic arms in a single cycle.
Double Hopper (Weighing in the Hopper): Two weighing hoppers operate synchronously; while one discharges into the bag, the other weighs the next batch above, increasing the filling speed.
4 Hoppers (Weighing in the Hoppers): The system operates with four independent weighing hoppers working in a sequential and continuous cycle. It is designed for high-tonnage, continuous-duty industrial lines.
End-of-Line Integration: After filling, the bags released by the pneumatic arms drop onto a conveyor belt manufactured to the required length and move toward the sewing station. On the station conveyor, the bag mouth is closed using suspended manual, column-mounted automatic, or specialized sewing machines, depending on the plant’s automation preferences, completing the packaging process reliably.
