Short Technical Description:
Shaftless Screw Conveyors are high-efficiency conveying systems featuring a specially formed spiral design without a central shaft or intermediate bearings. They enable the transport of sewage sludge, food waste, pulp, fibrous, and sticky bulk materials without clogging, wrapping around the screw, or causing the system to lock up.
Working Principle:
Driven by a geared motor, the high-strength shaftless screw spiral rotates and slides along the wear-resistant liner (UHMW-PE 1000 or Hardox) located at the bottom of the U-shaped body. Since there is no shaft or intermediate bearing inside, the material does not wrap around the screw; instead, it is continuously pushed forward along the body by the rotational movement. The fully enclosed and sealed body prevents odors, dust, and liquid leakage, enabling conveying at maximum fill capacity.
