The Yield Weighing Scale is a high-precision, PLC-controlled industrial weighing unit used in flour, semolina, feed, and pulses processing plants to continuously measure the flow rate and weight of raw materials and processed products, as well as overall plant efficiency (yield).
Working Principle: The product is transferred from the feeding hopper to the weighing hopper through a pneumatically actuated gate. The product weight is measured instantaneously by load cells inside the hopper, and the data is transmitted to the PLC system. When the target weight is reached, the lower gates open upon a PLC command and the product is transferred to the discharge hopper. The product in the discharge hopper is regularly discharged from the system via an airlock or tube screw. The entire process can be remotely monitored and reported through the central communication system, while efficiency analyses (tonnage, loss, yield) can be tracked in real time.
